CCP covered this expansion quite a bit during Fanfest, and it’s going to be rad. This expansion is leading up to the release of DUST 514, and a precursor or sorts to New Eden (a.k.a. COSMOS). They didn’t reveal too much about what would be available for New Edens launch, but it’s still looking pretty good. Being able to train skills and doing market activity without logging in will be awesome. They’re also going to do some mobile application stuff with New Eden. I suspect hope there will be a mobile version of the site at launch. We’ll see. The new planets look amazing. I can’t wait. Keep an eye on the expansions official website for more news (and hopefully more wallpapers). The expansion is due out on December 1st.

On a side note, I think DUST will release winter of 2010, with the next expansion.
