Alefest was a blast. Despite the wrong address being listed on their website, and an extreme lack of parking. Brews worth noting: MagicHat #9, Spartan Oktoberfest, Beamish Stout, GhettoBlaster and Harps. The Bells line was real long the whole time for some reason… You can get it anywhere in Michigan. Their Cherry Stout is good though. There were many more, over 50 I believe. I was hoping they would have a list of all the beers there so you could keep track of what you tried. I guess it wasn’t geared toward the beer snob though. Regardless, it was good times.

Afterwords we had some delicious pizza at Supino. Best pizza I’ve had in Michigan. It even beat Art’s.

We met some interesting people, as you can see. It was fun when someone poured out their beer into the sewer, everyone made a big fuss and yelled ‘OOOOOOOOHHH’, with the occasional ‘You suck!’. Not all the beer was good though. I don’t recall what it was, but it tasted like orange juice. Gross. Needless to say, I poured it into the sewer.

I hope they have another one next Fall.
