Saying goodbye to the DS? Maybe…

If you haven’t heard about this already, and you’re like me, sick of using your NDS for anything and everything other than games… This will cure your illness for sure.
Sure the NDS is awesome. I’ve been in love with mine since I opened it 2 years ago. The homebrew is amazing, and hell, I use Linux on it regularly, but the Pandora just might leave the DS sitting on the shelf.
Check out the specs:
- ARM® Cortex™-A8 600Mhz+ CPU running Linux
- 430-MHz TMS320C64x+™ DSP Core
- PowerVR SGX OpenGL 2.0 ES compliant 3D hardware
- 800×480 4.3″ 16.7 million colours touchscreen LCD
- Wifi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth & High Speed USB 2.0 Host
- Dual SDHC card slots & SVideo TV output
- Dual Analogue and Digital gaming controls
- 43 button QWERTY and numeric keypad
- Around 10+ Hours battery life
These smash the DS out of the playing field, and at roughly the same size. I’m sure there will be specialized distros to follow, as with all other devices. Someone’s already put Ubuntu on it.
